Welcome to the official TOEFL® Facebook Page. Here you’ll find the latest information and tips to help guide you on your journey and prepare you for the TOEFL iBT® and TOEFL® Essentials™ tests. The TOEFL program has designed these English-language proficiency exams to enable students to pursue their academic goal of attending their dream university .

To date, scores from the widely respected TOEFL iBT® test have helped millions of students get accepted at more than 11,000 universities and institutions in 150 countries worldwide including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and across Europe and Asia. You can choose to take the TOEFL iBT test at a test center or at home with the TOEFL iBT Home Edition. It’s your test, you choose where you are most comfortable to take it.

The TOEFL Essentials test is the newest offering from the TOEFL program. It features short, engaging tasks in a friendly format to measure proficiency in both academic and general English. The exam can be taken from home, from almost anywhere in the world, and it’s affordable — costing about half the price of other major English-language tests.
